NEVER WALK ALONE - FEEDBACK

FROM THE WEB DESIGNER - DEBBIE

I DID NOT CREATE "WALK WITH ME". I RECEIVED IT IN AN EMAIL (WITH NO AUTHOR KNOWN) AND HAVING KNOWLEDGE OF HTML TRANSFORMED IT AND UPLOADED IT ON TO A WEB PAGE.
I KNOW - IT IS BEAUTIFUL AND DURING DIFFICULT TIMES, I OFTEN FIND MYSELF GOING BACK TO VIEW IT. IT IS INSPIRATIONAL AND YOU CAN FIND COMFORT AND UNDERSTANDING

THANKS FOR YOUR EMAILS.

I wanted to thank you for such a beautiful e-mail.  I have never shed as many tears as I did during this e-mail.  It came at just the right time in my life as my home is not as happy as I would like for it to be.  I really need the inspiration you sent and now know that I can click on this e-mail at any time and know that I will never walk alone again.  Thank you so much for such a beautiful inspirational song & story.

My friend emailed me this email "Walk With Me".  I cried for quite a while.  Two of my sons are infantry Captains in the Marine Corp.  On March 22 we were celebrating the homecoming of our oldest from his fourth tour in Iraq.  On March 24 our second son got orders he was returning to Iraq on September 1.  His third tour.  I was so upset.  He is in the reserve unit after serving 4 years active and we had all hoped his time would be done but I guess it is not.  While I love the Marine Corp. I am just ready to have my family back on home soil safe and sound for a while.  Seven tours in Iraq is making me gray!!!   I have great faith but my fear sometimes overtakes me.  Then I got the Walk With Me video.  I felt instant relieve and gave it back to God where it belonged in the first place.  Some would say "it is just a video made by "somebody".  I will say it is God speaking right to me.  Thank you for having such a beautiful thing to ground me again.  I will visit your web site often now.

With kind regards
Mickey

MY COUSIN SENT THIS TO ME FROM YOUR WEB SITE. A LITTLE HISTORY REGARDING THIS SONG: WHEN I WAS WOUNDED IN VIETNAM IN 1969, I WAS EVACUATED BACK TO VALLEY FORGE GENERAL HOSPITAL. THERE WAS A USO SHOW THAT CAME IN TO TRY AND CHEER US UP, AND THERE WAS A CERTAIN YOUNG LADY SINGING, AND SHE WALKED OVER TO MY BED AND SAID TO ME "SGT DAVIS, WHY ARE YOU SO SAD? I BET YOU MISS YOUR FAMILY". MAN, THIS WAS AN UNDER STATEMENT. HERE I WAS IN PENNSYLVANIA AND MY FAMILY WAS IN OHIO AND I REALLY MISSED NOT SEEING THEM, AND SHE COULD TELL. SHE THEN SAID, "SGT DAVIS, I'M GOING TO SING A SONG JUST FOR YOU". SHE THEN SANG YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE. WELL, LET THIS OL SGT TELL YOU. WHEN SHE FINISHED THERE WAS NOT A DRY EYE ON THE WARD, INCLUDING THE NURSES. AND FROM THAT DAY THAT HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE SONG.. THANK YOU FOR THAT BEAUTIFUL SONG THAT BROUGHT BACK FOND MEMORIES TO AN OLD SOLDIER. A. D. DAVIS SFC, US ARMY RETIRED RANGER/SNIPER
